As we wrap up another holiday season, we’re taking a moment to reflect with full hearts and deep gratitude. 🎁

From Santa’s Workshop and Adopt-a-Momma, to our Holiday Food Hampers & Turkey Dinners, our 12 CANs Till Christmas food drive, and our annual Cookie Kitchen at Southcentre Mall, this incredible season was made possible by an extraordinary community of donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters who truly showed up when it mattered most!

Because of your generosity, hundreds of families across our community felt supported, seen, and less alone during one of the most challenging times of the year. These programs are about more than food or gifts – they’re about dignity, connection, and reminding families in crisis that their community cares deeply about them.

To every individual, business, volunteer, and partner who gave their time, resources, or voice in support of Made by Momma this holiday season: thank you. 🩷 Your belief in our mission continues to make a real, tangible impact for families facing illness, loss, and crisis.

Seasonal Resource Centre Coordinator Opportunity

Looking for a seasonal position in a dynamic and vibrant non-profit organization? Love giving back to the community? We’ve got exciting news! We’re looking for a fabulous seasonal intern to join our team!
As a volunteer-run organization, every aspect of what we do is done by volunteers….client intake, cooking & baking, updating the website, tracking data, planning events, packing up baby & family essentials care packages, answering emails, delivering meals, organizing donation drives, attending community events…and everything in between! The winter months leading up to and following the Christmas season is a very busy time for our organization and we’re looking forward to finding an intern to help us run our Resource Centre. We’d love to find passionate and caring applicants who are / or have taken non-profit studies, social work, nursing, child development, psychology, sociology, business, PR/Marketing, communications, or management studies to be a part of our team. Thank You Golf for Girls 2019

We are thrilled to announce that with the help of the Kinette Club of Calgary, and the 9th Annual Golf for Girls Charity Classic tournament, $82,000 in gross revenue was raised for Made by Momma! We want to thank everyone who contributed to the event, making it a huge success and helping us support families in crisis and adversity. This would not have been possible without the golfers who participated in the tournament and helped us raise money through our various fundraisers. Thank you to all who came out, and we truly hope you had a fun and memorable day. Also a big thank you to River Spirit Golf Club for the incredible hospitality.

We want to highlight and thank our generous sponsors who contributed indispensable support to the tournament, making our fundraiser a tremendous success.

Every Mother’s Day we create special gift bags for some of the moms that we are helping. These are moms facing crisis alone – without a partner. They may be going through an illness, balancing life as a single mom or living in a shelter. We want these moms to know that they are not alone and that someone cares.
