Made by Momma is now an official depot for the Good Food Box program!

The Good Food Box program is run through the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary and aims to provide community members with greater access to affordable, nutritious and sustainable fresh fruits and vegetables. The program purchases produce directly from local farmers and wholesalers. The program is run by volunteers that pack the boxes full of fruits and vegetables to be delivered to depots across the city.

$30 Small Box: 20-25 lbs* of fruits and vegetables
$35 Medium Box: 30-35 lbs* of fruits and vegetables
$40 Large Box: 40-45 lbs* of fruits and vegetables
*Weights are approximate and depend on produce size and density.

All Good Food Boxes must be
1. ordered in advance (by the deadline)
2. pre-paid via etransfer
3. must be picked up at the Made by Momma Resource Centre between 2:30pm – 6pm on the scheduled pick up day.

2024 order and pickup dates:
Order by January 23 – PICK UP on January 31
Order by February 20 – PICK UP February 28
Order by March 12 – PICK UP March 20
Order by April 16 – PICK UP on April 24
Order by May 7 – PICK UP on May 15
Order by June 4 – PICK UP on June 12
NO BOXES IN JULY
Order by August 6 – PICK UP on August 14
Order by September 3 – PICK UP on September 11
Order by September 24 – PICK UP on October 2
Order by October 22 – PICK UP on October 30
Order by November 19 – PICK UP on November 27
NO BOXES IN DECEMBER 2024
