DROP OFF OPTIONS:

Sunday, November 2nd – 10am – 2pm

Wednesday, November 5th – 12pm – 7pm

Tuesday, November 11th – 2pm – 5pm

Wednesday, November 12th – 2pm – 7pm

At our off-site warehouse offices: 3751 21 Street NE (Bay 5)

We will ONLY have volunteers at this building during the above times.

Candy / Donations CANNOT be left outside!

Drive-In Movie Night 2025

Join our friends at Southcentre Mall for a special one-night-only drive-in movie for a fun-filled evening under the stars. Bring your friends or family for a classic movie experience from the comfort of your car—all in support of Southcentre’s Rooftop Garden community partner, Made by Momma.

100% of ticket sales go to Made by Momma to support local Calgarian families facing distress. 

Screening: High School Musical 3 

Date & Location: September 6th, Southcentre Mall 

Gates Open: 7:00PM

FAQs  

🎟️ Only 1 Ticket Needed Per Vehicle
Tickets are per vehicle, not per person. Bring as many people as your vehicle seats! 

🚗 Vehicle & Pet Restrictions
Parking spots are standard size. No RVs, camper vans, truck campers, or large vehicles that extend beyond a standard stall. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all, we kindly ask that our furry friends stay home. 

🕒 Arrive Early for the Best Spot
Gates open at 7:00PM. Getting there early helps you grab a great viewing spot and get settled before the show begins. Parking attendants will direct you upon entering. 

🧳 Bring the Essentials
Comfort isn’t just on couches! Pack blankets, pillows, and thank us later. Warm items recommended as vehicles must be turned off for the duration of the movie. 

🍿 Snacks & Sodas
Stock up before the movie! Southcentre Mall offers plenty of options for food, snacks, and last-minute essentials with stores like Shoppers, Dollarama, and Safeway. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite from the food court or a full meal at one of five sit-down restaurants, Southcentre’s got you covered before your movie night.  

Please note there is no concession or food trucks within the parking lot. 

📻 Don’t Forget the Radio
Movie sound is broadcasted over FM radio. Make sure your car radio works without the engine running, or bring a portable radio just in case. The FM station to tune into will be provided at ticket check-in.  

🌦 Weather Notice
The drive-in movie may be affected by weather conditions. Screenings are subject to change or cancellation without notice. All ticket purchases are final and nonrefundable.

BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Back to school isn’t “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” for everyone. For some families, back to school can be riddled with financial stress and worries. For others in crisis, even finding the time to shop for the back to school necessities is just one more thing to think about.

You can help us make sure that every Calgary kid is set up for success when they return to the classroom! Our August donation drive is collecting NEW school supplies, clothing and snack foods!

10 CAN Round Up 2024

Round up 10 CANs (or more!) of our most needed non-perishables over the 10 days of Stampede!

Welcome to the Made by Momma 10 CAN Roundup! This is a simple grassroots effort to help others in our community when they need it the most. It has been a very challenging year for so many families, the demand for our services is at an all-time high, and our community pantry cupboards are bare. The Calgary Stampede is most often a time to whoop-it-up and enjoy the fun with friends and family – but for others, it can be a time of loneliness, sadness and stress if they are facing situations of adversity and crisis. We know it takes a village and together we can make a difference to these families.

The challenge is simple; collect 10 CANS for those that can’t!

1. Over the 10 days of Stampede we challenge you to collect/purchase and donate 10 needed non-perishable items for Made by Momma! It could be a CAN of food or something else that is non-perishable. (see the suggested list below)
2. Drop them off at the Made by Momma Resource Centre where they will be packed into hampers and/or used to prepare healthy freezer meals for our clients.
3. Invite as many of your friends to this event as you CAN! Get your friends and neighbours together, share with your service club, church and co-workers, get your kids & family involved – it is never too early nor too late to teach your kids kindness!
4. SHARE this event! Social media can make miracles happen!

How many CANs CAN we collect? We’ll keep track and keep this page up to date! Feel free to post photos of the CANs you have collected to inspire everyone! Please join our 10 CAN roundup challenge – it’s simple and easy to do; we have so many families that will greatly appreciate any and all donations. Remember, together we CAN make a difference! Let’s change someone’s life – right here; right now! Message us for a poster and set up a donation box to place wherever you are collecting your CANs!

Get Social & share a photo with us, and drop off your CANs to our resource centre by July 19th, 2024.
