Made by Momma had the wonderful opportunity of participating and volunteering at Calgary Marathon’s 50th marathon on Sunday June 1st, 2014.
Thank you to our 20 fabulous volunteers who assisted at Aid Station #11. We were able to cheer on everyone who passed the station while providing them with refreshing drinks and encouragement. We truly enjoyed the seven hours of dancing and cheering on participants as they passed us.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the record breaking marathon. The Calgary Sun reported over 15,000 participants hit the pavement running raising over $1.1 million for 91 charities – including us!
Thank you to the wonderful ladies who dedicated their time over the past few months and organized a Made by Momma Calgary Marathon running team.
So far our runners have raised over $3600.00! You ladies did an incredible job on Sunday and made us all very proud!
