THANK YOU to our community of volunteers, supporters and friends that participated in our 12 CAN Challenge!
In 12 short weeks you donated a total of 3923 non-perishable food items for the Made by Momma Community Pantry!
So many wonderful caring people came together to make this happen…groups of friends, neighbours, co-workers, a Brownie group, church groups and more…. WOW! Isn’t it heartwarming to know what can happen when people come together with small gestures that add up to make a BIG impact?!
This simple grassroots effort will help others in our community when they need it the most. The holidays are most often a time to enjoy and celebrate with friends and family – but for others it can be a time of loneliness, sadness and stress. We know it takes a village and together we’ve made a difference to these families.
Not only that, but you shared our facebook event with people that had never heard of our charity and that created some great awareness!
According to our Facebook stats:
– 70 thousand people were reached
– 2.8 thousand people viewed our event
– 564 facebook users engaged with our event page
We think that is a great impact and we thank you for being a part of this event!
